Our commitment to sustainability
Our “Going Green” programme covers all key areas of sustainability and it entails a series of concrete steps that increase the value of our yarns by placing the proper focus on crucial themes such as the reduction of harmful chemical substances in fabrics and finished garments. Our efforts and results attest our constant commitment to respect the environment and the health of workers and consumers through quality products and processes. We invest significant resources to be at the forefront of efforts to drive sustainability in fashion and continue to feed a virtuous cycle.
Since 2018 we joined the Higg Index, a tool for assessing sustainable social and environmental practices developed by SAC (Sustainable Apparel Coalition) and which includes the biggest players in the clothing industry.
Every year we publish our sustainability report.

We trace and monitor all our activities, with the objective of transparency and a continuous improvement cycle. This allows us to comply to our customers standards and provide them with the requested data.
We guarantee the conformity of our yarns to the most demanding requirements of international law, including, for some of our yarns, standard GB 18401 for the sale of textile products in China. We are continously developing yarns with sustainable fibers and we have already presented several certified items GOTS, OCS and GRS produced with organic cotton and linen, and recycled cotton, polyester and polyamide.
We recognise that textile production is a high energy consuming process. We are committed and actively invest to reduce the impact of our work by using resources efficiently. We comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and requirements. We recycle all waste material possible and reduce the amount of waste material produced.
We actively support our customers in driving their sustainability and creating value.
